INGREDIENTS HIGHLIGHT

Khurasani ajmo ext. seeds have acrid, anesthetic, anodyne, anthelmintic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, astringent, bitter, digestive, mild diuretic, expectorant, febrifuge, hypnotic, intoxicating, mydriatic, narcotic, sedative, and stimulant and thermogenic properties. It is principally employed as a sedative in nervous affections and irritable conditions, such as asthma, bronchitis, and whooping cough.

 

Nirgundi ext. has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, antioxidant, bronchial relaxant and hepatoprotective activities.

 

Jatamansi ext.is a known brain tonic, nervine, and antispasmodic. It imparts a sense of calmness, peace and relaxation; it helps manage stress, tension and anxiety. It has anti-depressant activity and increases the level of serotonin. It increases the level of taurine that helps in improving brain, heart functions, helps reduce high blood pressure, helps in diabetes, in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, epilepsy, autism, eye disorders, hepatitis, liver problems, calms the sympathetic nervous system, in alcoholism, etc). It has special potency as an anti-psychotic agent.

 

Sarpagandha ext.  Helps in insomnia, Nervousness, Mental disorders such as schizophrenia, Constipation, Fever, Liver problems, Joint pain, Spasms in the legs due to poor circulation, Mild high blood pressure.

 

Pipramool ext. useful in respiratory systems like bronchitis, asthma, stress relief, sleep disruptions, analgesic, ant-pyretic, anti-inflammatory, anti-convulsant and CNS depressant activities.

DOSAGE

One to two tablets twice a day or as directed by the physician.

No adverse/ toxic effects have ever been observed in short/ long term usage of Calmerin tablet in recommended dosage.

CAUTION

Keep the tablets away from direct sunlight, moisture and reach of children.

Do

  • Eat a heart-healthy diet, including potassium and fiber, and drink plenty of water.

  • Exercise regularly -- at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise a day.

  • If you smoke, quit it.

  • Limit how much alcohol you drink -- one drink a day for women, two a day for men.

  • Limit the amount of sodium (salt) you eat -- aim for less than 1,500 mg per day.

  • Reduce stress -- try to avoid things that cause you stress.

  • Stay at a healthy body weight

  • You drink too much alcohol (more than one drink per day for women and more than two drinks per day for men)

  • You eat too much salt in your diet

  • You have a family history of high blood pressure
